The fleece Converta-Mitt is manufactured from 300 wI. polartec@ fleece which provides about 50% greater warmth than competition's 100 wI. fleece. Wear in the fingerless mode for outdoor activities that require use of your fingers - or hinge the finger and thumb covers over the cold fingers for extra warmth. When not in use the covers are held securely out of the way with Velcro fasteners. Toughtek palm provides for better grip and longer wear. The rubberized fabric is waterproof and always remains totally flexible. Elastic cuff keeps warmth in and cold oul.
